About the blog
Welcome to Mission Impossible: TriDelta Goes Green, a blog dedicated to the women of the Theta Alpha Chapter of Delta Delta Delta at the University of Washington, and their efforts to become more environmentally conscious, aware and active in the global movement supporting sustainable practices.Implementing green practices in a single-family home may seem like a simple task, but trying to make a sorority house with 99 young women more eco-friendly is a daunting task. The women of Theta Alpha are well-rounded, intellectual and engaging young women, but when asked to limit their showers to less than five minutes, their enthusiasm toward environmentalism falls by the way side.
Despite their lack of eagerness towards going green, Theta Alpha members unanimously agreed in the spring of 2008 that it was absolutely essential for the chapter to become more environmentally friendly through house improvements and simple lifestyle changes.
Each week, I will chronicle Theta Alpha’s progress towards living more green through several different environmental initiatives undertaken by the chapter. I will be examining the potential environment impacts and the direct effects of the changes on the sorority sisters of Theta Alpha. I will also rely on a variety of environmental Web sites and blogs, including for information and inspiration.
Sorority women are typically stereotyped as social, flirtatious and preoccupied with material things. This blog will demonstrate that these stereotypes are not only false, but that sorority women are concerned and interested in issues that have a global impact.

This is a great idea for a focused blog that will be easy to do. First post gives a clear sense of its purpose. Excellent. The photo and links add to its value.
It’s OK to write in third person, but first person is fine, too. Blogs tend to be more personal.
Spelling/style tip: It’s toward, not towards. 4 (1 bonus for the photo)
